I made this sweet card for my mother said when she went to see him in the nursing home that he wants to write to his friends, but he doesn't have any I thought I would make him some.....this is the first one....I wanted something not too girly but still fun and cheery....

The second photo is a close up of the stamping. The stamps used are Smile from the Hand Scripted set (on page 71 of the a muse|studio catalog) the Sunflower is from the Graphic Sunflower set (page 33) and the Polka Dots from the Polka Dot Patterns set (page75) I started out with card base of Grass. I stamped the largest Polka Dot stamp twice using Grass ink. I cut a 1 inch strip of blueberry and affixed it above stamped polka dots. Using Nestabilities Labels 1 to cut the labels. I cut the largest out of cloud paper, the next smaller layer using blueberry. I stamped the sunflower randomly on the blueberry label using sky ink. I then used a smaller label and stamped Smile on it corner to corner using Momento Tuxedo Black ink. I then layered the labels into the card. I popped the smile layer up on foam tape. Clean and simple...not too fussy...I totally love the way it came out!!!

Check out my a muse|studio website where you can get all these fabulous stamps and papers!!
